Music.....
We all say that we love music, some claim to be making music, and some say am listening to music, but how many of us can really cross the line and say, that is GOOD MUSIC?
Good music is not hard to find because any form of music that shows you that it is not ordinary is GOOD MUSIC.
I was privileged to be at the Ayo Bankole centre for the monthly Jazz & old skool nite and must say that the Nigeria music industry is missing a lot. If the Nigeria music industry can take a cue from the level of musicianship that was displayed here, then music in Nigeria will grow for the better.
I learned playing the piano and must tell you that playing an instrument requires a lot of discipline, and a lot of the youth in music today lack that quality. To be better, you need to put in a lot of practice also.
With what I saw and heard at the Ayo Bankole centre, I must say that it is GOOD MUSIC; it was not the everyday kind of music that I hear on the airwaves. Mr. Banks, I see you.......
